I put this mask thru some actual tear gas tests and am completly satisfied.

Filters were not that hard to get it in, took me two minutes tops and I have never touched an M17 or M10M before. When I opened it the mask and accessories (drinking straw adapter, outsets, filter valves) all came wrapped in plastic bags that were sealed. I got one for my wife and I and she can almost fit her whole head in the mask. For someone who lives, not far enough from a nuclear facility and two volcanos, I believe these masks will aid me and my family in escaping the area if we needed to. Good flow for drinking. The standard M17 filters do fit. Now if they only made them for dogs. Cheek filters are a pain just like my old M17. After the attack on Syria I'm glad i did even more so now.

I got this m10m to train with not for any survival needs, mask does not fit in the nose and mouth where needed. We were very impressed with the quality of this mask. Well woth adding to your "bug out bag," and you can't beet the price! If you see someone assembling it with filters on the outside, they are putting them on wrong. Mine are put together, spare filters and lenses in zip locks and chemical suit and gloves fit into the bottom portion carrying pouch.I like the product and would recommend it. I don't know for sure how much if any this mask will help but it has to be better than nothing at all.

Once they are gone they're gone forever. Not a serious enough flaw for me to consider returning it. had this mask for 4 years now filters still work and everything. Get over it, whiners. Now wearing the mask: It's comfortable, great visibility, and I've been told that I can be heard easily when I talk, so that's always good as well. I bought 3, one which has the drinking straw attachment for canteen. However, the gas mask carrying bag was missing one of the snaps needed to close it. It has to be a size large because it is huge. The filters are a pain to put in too. i was not disappointed when it arrived. the mask came sealed and it was in perfect condition, no scratches on the lens or any sort of scratching on the filters or filter caps.
